46 Blood Sugar and Hormones Regulating Recipes

I am constantly telling my clients that they need to add more fat into their diets.

Especially my pregnant and nursing clients!  Come on mama’s your hormones are yelling Mayday, Mayday, Mayday.  And, if you are trying to conceive I urge you DON’T cut out the fat in your diet.

Sadly, many of our minds have been brainwashed to think that fats are bad for us. Au contraire, my friends.  Rancid fats ARE bad for your.  But, healthy fats are not bad for you, in fact, your body desperately needs them.  

Healthy fats are needed for healthy cholesterol, to insulate your cells, to protect your organs, to balance your hormones, and to maintain proper blood sugar.  Your body can’t perform these functions without healthy fat in your diet.  That is why I find it devastating that some health professionals are still teaching the false low-fat gospel.  Please don’t listen to them, if you study the workings of the body healing fat in the diet makes so much sense! *palm to forehead*

I will write an in-depth post later about which kind of fats are good and which kind of fats are bad.  Until then, feel secure to know that every single recipe below lists healthy sustainable fats that are nourishing for your insides.
